Allow your animals to lead the way
The catalyst that broke me into a million little excruciating pieces; my heart cat, Stoney unexpectedly left this physical world the day before his brother’s 8th birthday. Little did I know it was his way of opening my eyes and intuition to serve a greater good. In his passing, I was reborn, I found new meaning in life.
How it all began…
Some didn’t understand the depth of my pain, but Stoney wasn’t just a cat—he was my child, my heart, my constant companion. He was the first cat that was truly mine, not shared with anyone else, which made our bond feel even more special. Like me, he was anxious, self-conscious, and shy, navigating the world with a quiet uncertainty. He followed me everywhere, like a shadow intertwined with my soul. Only I could hold him, pet him endlessly, or give him those cherished belly rubs he wouldn’t let anyone else offer.
Our connection ran deeper than words could capture; it was as if we understood each other’s thoughts and emotions without speaking. I always worried about him—wanting to make sure he felt safe, loved, and secure—because he meant the absolute world to me. Loving him was like having a piece of my soul living outside my body, and that love will stay with me forever.
A bond beyond words
A month after Stoney’s passing, as I scrolled through Instagram, a masterclass for "Animals and the Other Side," hosted by Danielle Mackinnon, kept popping up on my feed. The idea piqued my interest, so I decided to join in. What followed was nothing short of transformative. For the first time since Stoney’s death, I felt a sense of peace and felt less alone. During the masterclass, she mentioned she teaches Soul Level Animal Communication®, and I became intrigued. For weeks, I debated whether to sign up. My logical mind insisted it wasn’t practical, while my heart whispered "Yes." I followed my heart, and my journey into Soul Level Animal Communication® began.
The call of the heart
After losing Stoney, I found myself desperate for answers. Why did he leave when he did? Why did he cross over in such a traumatic way? But as I connected with other animals, a deeper understanding began to emerge. Despite the heart-wrenching pain of his passing, I began to see that there was a profound purpose behind it. He was guiding me onto a new path, redirecting my life in ways I had never expected. My eyes open and seeing the world in a new light.
Rebirth through loss
As I’ve been on this journey, one experience in particular stands out to me. I worked with a cat who was light-hearted and comical in his communication, his personality shining through with such joy. But when it came time to share something about his human, a deep sadness washed over me, and I found myself in tears. In that moment, the human began to cry as well, recognizing the depth of what her cat was trying to express. It was an intimate, vulnerable experience that moved me. That moment became a powerful confirmation for me. My purpose was to help others connect with their animals in meaningful ways, to uncover the important messages they carry, and to help us grow and evolve as human beings.
